We all face unexpected turns in life.
Moments we didn’t choose. Chapters we never thought we’d have to write. Pain that knocked the wind out of us—and perspective that brought it back.
These plot twists may look different for each of us, but the question they leave behind is universal:
“What now?”
This month, I’m deeply honored to share a piece of my journey in the July 2025 issue of The Beauty Box Magazine. It's a story about loss, identity, resilience, and purpose—but more than that, it’s about what’s possible on the other side of heartbreak, healing, and divine redirection.
If you’re walking through a hard season—or still carrying the weight of one—you’re not alone.
I’ve learned that resilience isn’t about pretending everything’s fine. It’s not about putting on a brave face or bouncing back overnight. True resilience is quieter. Deeper. It’s about honoring the pain, listening for the wisdom, and choosing to rise anyway—with God’s grace leading the way.
When we’re in the middle of the storm, clarity can feel far away. But I believe God speaks in the stillness. And one of the most powerful ways to hear Him—and to hear ourselves—is through journaling.
Why Journal Prompts Matter (and How They Help You Reclaim Your Power)
When your world has been shaken, your identity can feel tangled up in the aftermath. You may know who you were, but feel unsure of who you are now. That’s where reflection comes in.
Journaling isn’t just a mental exercise—it’s a conversation between your heart and your healing. It’s a place to process what’s been lost… and begin to imagine what could be restored. It’s where we make space to hear the whispers of God’s truth over the lies of fear or failure.
Whether you feel stuck, numb, angry, or ready to start fresh—these prompts are a gentle guide back to your power, your purpose, and your God-given identity.
3 Faith-Fueled Reflection Prompts to Reclaim Your Power
1. What moment shifted everything in my life, and what did it awaken in me? Write about the moment everything changed. What emotion rises when you think about it? What strength did God stir in you that you may have overlooked?
2. Where in my life am I being called to surrender control and trust God more deeply? Power isn’t always found in pushing harder—it often comes from releasing the outcome and letting faith lead.
3. What would it look like to rebuild my life with God at the center of it all? Visualize a future where your healing is complete, your voice is strong, and your steps are divinely ordered. What does that life feel like? What truth do you want to carry into it?
These prompts aren’t about fixing yourself. They’re about remembering who God says you are—even when life doesn’t look like you thought it would. They’re about reclaiming your power not through perfection, but through presence.
