You’ve Done Hard Things. Now It’s Time to Do Big Things.

How to Turn Your Toughest Moments Into Bold Moves Guided by Purpose

You’ve Survived the Storm. Now Step Into the Calling.

If you’re reading this, I don’t believe it’s by accident.

You’ve faced battles that most people never see. Maybe you’ve held it all together when life was falling apart behind the scenes. Maybe, like me, you’ve stared down a moment that could have taken you out—but didn’t.

In October 2021, I got sick. Really sick.

I spent four months in the hospital, fighting for my life after complications from an atypical case of COVID-19. I endured limb loss, nerve damage, and more long nights than I can count. But even in the darkest moments, something unexpected happened.

One night in the ICU, I had a dream.

I saw myself standing on a stage, speaking to a room full of people, sharing my story—not from a place of pain, but from a place of purpose.

I didn’t know how I’d ever get there. I could barely move, let alone walk.

But I held onto that vision.

Doing Big Things Isn’t About Hustling—It’s About Obedience

In a world that rewards pushing and performing, doing big things looks different when you’re walking by faith.

For me, it’s not about ego.

It’s about obedience.

It’s about saying yes—even when it feels scary. Even when I don’t feel “ready.”

That’s why I’ve completely rebuilt my website to reflect this new direction.

That’s why I’m applying to speak at women’s conferences, leadership events, and faith-based gatherings.

That’s why I’m working on getting press coverage—not for attention, but so more people can hear a message that could change how they see their own struggle.

Because I believe our stories are more than survival.

They are assignments.

The Shift: From Surviving to Doing Big Things

Doing big things doesn’t mean doing more.

It means living on purpose.

It’s the shift from striving to surrender. From proving yourself to being yourself.

From asking “Why me?” to declaring, “Use me.”

Here’s what doing big things really looks like:

  • Using your story to serve — not because it’s perfect, but because it’s real. When you stop hiding your hard chapters, they become your most powerful testimony.

  • Saying yes to your calling, not your comfort zone — even when it feels messy, unpolished, or uncertain. Your “yes” doesn’t require a spotlight. It just needs faith.

  • Letting God use even the hardest chapters for something good — trusting that nothing was wasted and everything you’ve walked through can be turned into purpose.

You don’t need to have it all figured out. You don’t need a five-year plan, the perfect brand, or a viral moment.

You just need a faithful next step.

That might mean applying for the thing. Booking the photoshoot. Finally telling your story. Or simply whispering, “Okay God, I’m willing.

Whatever your next move is, don’t wait until you feel ready. God doesn’t call the ready—He equips the willing.

This is your shift point.

From stuck to surrendered.

From surviving to serving.

From hiding to honoring the path you’ve walked.

The Message Is Bigger Than Me

If you’ve felt something stir while reading this—if you’re thinking of the women in your life, your community, your company, or your conference—I’d love to speak to them.

Not because I need the stage, but because I believe this message is needed on more stages.

This calling came to me when I couldn’t walk, couldn’t move, couldn’t even imagine what life would look like on the other side of that hospital bed.

But the vision was clear: I would speak. I would lead. I would use what nearly broke me to build something that blesses others.

And now I’m doing the work—applying for speaking opportunities, updating my website to reflect this focus, and seeking media to amplify not just my story, but the message that’s carried me:

You’ve done hard things. Now let’s do big things.

So here’s my ask—from a place of purpose, not pressure:

If you know someone who’s curating a conference, planning a retreat, hosting a summit, or simply looking for a story that moves the room—would you consider sharing my name?

And if you’re reading this and thinking, this message is for me, then maybe you’re part of the reason I’m writing it.

Visit my speaking page here or email me directly to collaborate.

Thank you for holding space for this dream. Let’s rise together.
